Tie-back Strong & Weak Gas Producing Offshore Platforms with Surface Jet Pump to Reduce CAPEX/OPEX and CO2 Footprint.

I am pleased to state that Caltec was awarded a major study to assess Caltec’s Surface Jet Pumps (also known as SJP, Ejectors & Eductors) technology for a tie-back of two large gas production platforms offshore North sea. The passive SJP will use wasted fluid energy (produced gas being let-down to meet lower downstream pressure at the tie-in location) from one of the high pressure platforms. This approach will eliminate the need for a whole new compression system and minimise production backout from the weaker producing gas platform. Furthermore, local emissions/CO2 footprint will reduce with massive CAPEX/OPEX savings.

For further information, on how this SJP technology could assist your processes, please feel free to contact me Dr Najam Beg or visit www.caltec.com.
