Debottlenecking Separators

Increases in gas production or the lowering of the separator pressure can result in overloading for the separator. Debottlenecking involves the bypassing of the bottlenecked phase around bottlenecked separators or vessels to improve and enhance operations.

Caltec’s compact separators I-SEP® and Wx® have the unique ability to direct flow from existing separators. This is of particular interest when there is a significant change in the process conditions for an existing separation train, and there is limited space and flare system capacity.
